Dobbiaco is known as a cross-country skiing paradise. Beside the hotel there is the cross country ski track with connection to a vast network of well-prepared cross-country trails . The Dobbiaco Cross-country Stadium offers a training area for beginners, and is the starting point for several cross-country routes.
The 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski resort offers 115 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes, 5 connected ski mountains, spectacular views and state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts.
Ideal for beginners is the ski area Rienza (only a few minutes away).
The new “Ski Pustertal Express” connects the ski areas of Plan de Corones and Sesto Dolomites within a 30-minutes cycle. The right track for 200 kilometers of slopes!
Sledding, snowshoeing, ski mountaineering, the swimming pool Acquafun in San Candido (3 km) with a 75 metre long gigantic water slide and much more awaits you. The offer for the free time is immense!
A dense net of hiking paths, many huts and romantic alpine lakes provide a unique offer for mountaineers, hikers and cyclists. In the immediate vicinity there is a bike rental. With the bike to the lake of Dobbiaco Lake, to Lienz in Austria, to Brunico or Cortina d’Ampezzo and much more. The return is comfortably by train or taxi with a wagon for bikes.
The natural bathing lake in Dobbiaco and the Nordic Arena with climbing tower, roller skating course, adventure park and 2 outdoor tennis courts with flood light promise a lot of fun for young and old.
You do not have to sweat in order to reach alpine heights; you can ascend with the cable cars and enjoy impressive panoramic and alpine hikes.
